Women of Willamette offers women the opportunity to connect with other women to form personal and professional relationships while enjoying the beautiful surroundings, cuisine and wines that are unique to the valley and to grow the businesses of its members and our communities.
Between her upbringing in a military home and marriage to an executive with corporate Ford Motor Company, founder Meri Kerekanich moved every two to three years of her life, so she understands the emotional imperative of connecting with the community once the home was identified.
After establishing roots in the Willamette Valley with the purchase of Newberg Ford and her thriving real estate business, Meri was determined to form a group that nurtured the need of women to feel connected to their community and to provide a forum to help them establish personal and professional relationships while learning about and promoting the community in which they all live. WOW is the result of this experience and passion.
With the founding of the Cathy Stoller Memorial WOW Scholarship, we are now able to donate to the education of a young resident of the Willamette Valley with the goal of growing the next generation of WOW women.
Cathy Stoller was a loving wife and mother, brilliant business woman, philanthropist and member of WOW. We encourage applicants to learn more about Cathy and her impact as a role model and a citizen in our community.
